The first day--the first day there was rage.
The second day there was cruelty.
The third day there was pain.
The fourth day there was grief.
The fifth day there was questioning.
The sixth day there was fear.
The seventh day there was shame.
The eighth day there was sorrow.
The ninth day there was more pain.
The tenth day there was depression.
The eleventh day there was anguish.
The twelth day there was tears.
The thriteenth day there was contemplation.
The fourteenth day there was silence.
The fifteenth day there was peace.
And the sixteenth day? On the sixteenth day... There was release.
