Undercover
The cloak was a prototype from the labs. It was supposed to make your jobs easier. The two of you, the up-and-coming young partners, were given one of the first as a test run.
Alec's face betrayed nothing as the two of you were lectured on the cloak. His mouth twitched when, after the initial demonstration, Q begged "for god's sake, 006, 007, don't let it out of your sight," but somehow, the two of you managed to restrain yourselves.
And as soon as you were out of the lab, he threw it over the both of you and dragged you down a deserted hallway. It was a few minutes, then, of testing, and when the both of you were satisfied that this wasn't some trick, he pulled it over the both of you and shoved you against a wall.
"Now, James," he muttered, "keep in mind that we can still be heard..."
He then proceeded to suck you off, and you felt certain that you were going to grind your teeth down to the gums trying to bite back all the noises that wanted to escape.
"Well, Q," you said two weeks later, looking unabashedly abashed, "I suppose it's just one of those things that doesn't work as well in real life as on paper."
It's true -- the cloak slipped off during a rather close escape, and the simple essence of it, invisibility, would make it quite impossible to find again. Still, it might very well be for the best: it would've been rather embarassing, after all, to have to explain why there were so many traces of genetic material on it after only two weeks.
"Maybe," Alec offered, simply looking unabashed, "if we checked in the last place we saw it?"
