A Little More Weatherbeaten

It was 1945 and the war was over.

Only one man still called him Short Round — you kind of lost that kind of nickname after you grew a few feet taller and spent just as many years on battlefields in France — and that man was standing in front of him, a little more weatherbeaten, but still the hero that rescued him all those years ago.

Professor Henry Jones, Jr. took off his fedora, looked at the young man in front of him, and grinned. And he grinned back at him, right up to when he grabbed him for a kiss.
