When she first came out of the Matrix, Switch was there to teach her everything she needed to know.
When she finally got her head around it and didn't want to throw up or cry or just scream over and over again, Switch was there, again, to smile shyly and hand her a dish of mush, and to point out everyone.
When that itch started up again, the one she was convinced didn't exist out in the Real World, Switch was there, again, pushing her against her bunk and laughing.
But now Switch is dead. And that dead feeling's back.
