Idle Hands by Queena
"Got the movies," Oz said, when Willow opened the door to her house and
stepped back to allow him in.
"What'd you get?" Willow asked, following him into the living room where she
had set out snack foods for there movie date.
"Vampires, Interview With a Vampire, and From Dusk Til Dawn," Oz said,
shedding his jacket and popping one of the movies into the VCR. Willow sat in
the middle of her sofa and waited while Oz fast-forwarded through the
previews.
"I'm seeing a theme here," Willow said with a smile.
"Well, watching these movies makes me feel special because I know how far
from the truth they are," he explained and sat down next to her. "Sssh, it's
starting," he said, wrapping an arm around her shoulders and placing a kiss
on the tip of her nose.
Around halfway into the first movie, Willow started getting antsy. Oz was
completely enthralled by the movie and didn't seem to notice. Figuring it was
about time for the smoochies to ensue, Willow turned and pressed her cheek
against his hand, which was rested on her shoulder.
Suddenly, a scent his her nostrils. It was like strawberries with a musky
edge to it. Immediately, Willow's cheeks flushed with anger and she slapped
Oz in the chest. "Ow, what was that for?" Oz asked, rubbing his pectoral.
"What do you think?!" Willow shouted and jumped to her feet to face him. "I
smelled it. On your hand."
Oz looked up at her with large, innocent eyes. "What do you mean?"
"Oh, don't play dumb with me. Cordelia, it was Cordelia wasn't it?!" Willow
demanded, pointing an accusatory finger at her boyfriend.
"You're gorgeous when you're angry," Oz said, standing to place his hands on
her shoulders. A dreamy look came to Willow's eyes and she smiled for a
moment before it fell away just as quickly.
"Oh, no you don't. You're not going to change the subject again." She stepped
back away from him and crossed her arms over her chest.
"Willow, be reasonable--"
"I am being reasonable, Oz. You need an intervention, this can't go on."
Willow's eyes softened a bit. "I thought you were getting better. You said
you had given it up."
"I did," Oz tried to assure her, but she definitely wasn't convinced. "Taste
me," he offered and opened his mouth a bit for her access.
"Don't wanna. And that's not the point," she pouted. "You're not being very
fair to me, Oz."
"Fair? I don't think it's fair that you're using your Witchcraft against me,"
Oz pointed out calmly.
"I'm not using it against you. And, plus, even with the spell your senses are
still more enhanced then mine. Why should you have enhanced senses and not
me? See, now you're being selfish," Willow countered. "A..and you're trying
to change the subject again."
"I know," Oz said, dropping back down to the couch and avoiding her gaze.
"But you should have seen her. She was so sad and frustrated." He looked up
again. "I've gotten over my.....oral fixation, at least, when I'm not with
you. I just don't see why I should let people suffer when I've got two
perfectly good hands."
"I told Xander that my hands....all of my stuff is for you only. I'm not
sharing my favors with anybody, why are you?" Willow asked.
"Wait just a minute!" Oz cried out, jumping up again. "Have you forgotten
about Giles?!"
"Oh, please, you can't hold that against me. So, what if I....did that?
You've done the same thing for him four or five times," Willow said in her
defense.
"This was the last time, Will. Cordy needed me. Look, I promise I'll stop
doing it for her. Would that make you happy?" Oz offered.
"What about Buffy when she's done with her patrols? I know how she gets
then," Willow asked.
Oz took a couple of minutes to think it over. "I can't promise that, but I
swear to lay off of Cordy, Xander and Wesley. Is that a deal?" Oz bartered.
"Will you let up with Devon too?"
"Already have."
"Mmmm," Willow too had to think about it. "All right, but you're putting in
over time with me," she finally relented.
"Deal. Hey, you look pretty tense there, baby. Want me to fix that for ya?"
Oz suggested with a devilish grin.
"M'kay!" Willow agreed cheerfully and turned to run for her stairs with Oz
close behind.
