Ruby Fusion
Brash, strong, determined, Ruby is the wild one, the exotic one, the girl
with it. She co-runs a catering company with her lover, Copper
Shimmer, running the business side and making sure the company, Shimsion
Catering, is at all the right parties.

Copper Shimmer
More reserved than her energetic lover, Copper is thoughtful, sensitive,
intelligent. She is an excellent cook, and has a collection of recipes
rivaled only by the finest French chefs. She reigns over some of the finest
chefs in the city. Her food is applauded by all, even the stingiest of
food critics.

Moroccan Spice
The college-age younger sister of Copper, Spice is quirky, comedic, outgoing,
majoring in Comparative Literature, with a minor in Theater at Rosewood
University. She spends her time alternating between her college, Rosewood
University, and the Dye Bar, where she sees her
sister, Copper, virtually every night.
|
Saharan Rose
Rose is everything her older sisters aren't. Concerned entirely with propriety
and appearance, Rose harasses Copper about her "unnatural" relationship,
Spice about her nights out on the town, and everyone else about any other
possible thing that Jerry Fawell and the "Moral Majority" would find inappropriate.
But that may just be the surface...

Coral Reef
Wife to Nat and mother to Copper,
Spice, and Rose, Coral divides
her time between volunteering at the hospital and the library. After getting
married and having Copper right out of high school, plus supporting her
husband through school, she now likes to take life a little easy and focus
on what makes her happy. She's also the source of some of Copper's absentmindedness.

Natural Light Brown
Nat is the patriarch of the Shimmer family. With his wife Coral,
he has managed to raise up his three daughters quite well. Ruby
and Nat get along splendidly, as any father and girlfriend-in-law should.
Nat is a well-known architect, having designed many of the newer buildings
in Rosewood, as well as many internationally. Because of his expertise,
he is often away from his family, which may have had an effect on Rose.
